Here you’ll find all the information on WNY’s most successful recreational cheerleading program:

What is Recreational Cheerleading?

Recreational Cheerleading is a space for young athletes to be included in the dynamic sport of cheerleading, without the cost and commitment associated with an All Star Cheerleading Program. The competition cheerleading routines at Northtowns Cheerleading include a sideline cheer/chant, jumps, tumbling, stunts and a dance. Unlike any other program in Western New York, we practice completly indoors in an All Star Cheer facility and are not directly connected to a football program. This allows us to cheer on the sideline of different teams in our community.

Cheerleading Teams:

Number of teams and ages may vary based on registration.

• Tiny Empire – Grades PreK4 & 1st
• Mini Monarchs – Grades 2nd & 3rd
• Freshman Reign – Grades 4th & 5th
• Junior Royals – Grades 6th & 7th
• Senior Queens – Grades 8th-10th

Registration Information and Costs:

Athlete Registration is $395 for the entire season! (Plus additional $50 fundraiser fee)

What’s included in registration? 

All practices and indoor practice space rental for the entire season, bow, practice tshirt, competition fees, banquet ticket and trophy are all included with registration.

Extra costs? Each athlete will be required to purchase a uniform (approximately $260) and sneakers. This uniform will be used for multiple years, so once you buy it, you have it! There will also be optional spiritwear in the team store!

Fundraisers will be offered to offset these extra costs!

​Raffle ticket Fundraiser? At registration, athletes will be required to purchase 5 cash raffle tickets to sell ($10 each) for the NTC fundraising fee. Additionally, they will be given 15 tickets to sell and keep the money to offset uniform costs.

Competitions:

All teams will participate in 3-5 local competitions, and one travel competition. Dates TBD.

Practices:

Practice for all teams start mid-May and end mid-November. All teams will practice indoors at Elite Heat All Stars in North Tonawanda (7330 Townline Rd, North Tonawanda, NY). Practices consist of 2 nights per week for two hours each practice.

Attendance:

Attendance is taken at all practices. Competitions are 100% Mandatory. All practices the week before competition are also 100% mandatory. No exceptions. Cheerleading is a team sport in which each cheerleader needs to make a commitment and be dedicated to the team. Being late or absent from practices can negatively affect the entire team and cheer routine. If you are unable to attend a practice, a parent must notify the coach at least one hour before the practice. If you go to school, you are expected to be at practice. School dances, sporting events, or parties are not an excused absence. Your athlete is only allowed to miss three practices for the entire season.
